How I Built a Successful YouTube Channel (2025 Gameplan)

Let me tell you something on the real. I'm a Music Professor that works at a college. My purpose for YouTube is simple. I'm a music professor and I post tutorial videos for students that are taking my classes, like Music ...Appreciation, American Music & Applied Percussion.

I'll post videos about percussion things and there may be concerts that I do with my students or maybe a concert that I play with a professional jazz or rock group. I play and perform as a full-time member with The Valley Symphony Orchestra and it’s a blast! Sometimes, I will post videos of the music I am learning on my YouTube Channel, whether it’s jazz, rock or Symphonic.

So, you have to ask yourself this question: Why are you here on YouTube? Why do you want to have a channel? Is it fun? Is it exciting? Absolutely. Do you enjoy it? Do I enjoy it? Of course, and I hope you do too! I’d be thrilled if more people watched my percussion videos, drum videos or my tutorial videos that I give to my college students for Music appreciation, American Music and Applied Percussion, you know, I’d be over moon!
